Liken was inspired by a beautiful and unique shelf lichen I brought home from San Juan Island, WA, a veritable paradise. I tried to capture the drama and flow of the island setting in the modulations of this design, which uses three colors of yarn and includes colorwork, lace, and beads. I guarantee you won’t be bored!
