Columbia River Cowl is a quick and easy cowl with the heavy river currents depicted in slip stitch (mosaic) colorwork. Only one color of yarn is used on any given row!
The asymmetrical cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases only on the neck edge. There is a short seam at the back neck to allow for easy blocking.
Columbia River Cowl is a great way to try out gradient yarns and even try stash and leftover yarn too. You could also choose to place beads in the center of each wave.
The pattern is written for sport yarn but can be made in any weight. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge and yarn choices.
