Astoria Socks (Annetarsia Knits)

Astoria is a coastal town where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. The Astoria Column stands 600 feet (183 meters) above sea level and offers beautiful views of the coastline. Constructed in 1926, it has a spiral design that is echoed in these socks.

This project is designed to be a first “in the round” (ITR) sock project. The diagonals to the left are identical to the ones knitted in the beginning workshops and will be familiar. If you want to do something different for the second sock, knit the swirls in the opposite direction. Bust your stash by working each stripe a different color, or vary the color patterning to your whim.

The kCDesign for this pattern is available individually but the pattern is only available as part of Annetarsia Knits.  If you don’t have an existing purchase of the Annetarsia Knits ebook in your ravelry library, the price of this item reflects the purchase of the ebook as well as the kCDesign.  If you purchase several individual kCDesigns from the ebook you will only be charged for the ebook once.  This will be reflected on the Cart page prior to checkout.
