I have been knitting and crocheting for more years than I care to admit to. I design in both techniques for magazines and yarn companies, and am the author of The Secret Language of Knitters – a smart-ass knitting dictionary, Hooked for Life: Adventures of a Crochet Zealot, a book of humorous essays for crocheters, both from Andrews McMeel Publishing; and Curvy Girl Crochet: 25 Patterns that Fit and Flatter from The Taunton Press.

I have written several booklets on everything from crochet cowls to arm knitting – those are mostly available at the chain craft stores.
