Sanquhar patterns are typically knit in two colors – often black and white – although I’ve chosen the red and pink colors for a more contemporary look. The scarf is knit in the round as a tube, and as only two colors are used on any round it makes for a relatively simple, yet interesting project. The scarf is finished by blocking the piece flat and then sewing each of the ends closed.
