Join Sally for a day of knitCompanion classes. You have the option to take classes on Saturday October 15, Sunday October 23, or attend BOTH days of classes at a huge discount. Each day provides 5 hours of knitCompanion class, with breaks during the day. Each day is the same agenda and schedule. When attending both days the week between gives you time to practice new skills and come back to absorb more details, ask more questions, and retain your new skills more completely.

• All classes are held with zoom so you will need an internet connection. You may want to use a different device to connect to zoom, so your main knitCompanion device is available to follow along during class.
• All classes include a live Q&A session. In order to participate in the Q&A you will need a working microphone so you can converse with Sally about your question.
• Classes are based on knitCompanion for Apple and will cover tools that require a subscription to Setup+Essentials.

Intro Agenda (1 hr) – 11am Eastern

• Learn the basics of navigating your knitCompanion including adding patterns and making your first project
• Learn to keep track using markers, counters, scribble ruler, calculators, and more.
• Adding video links, customizing your markers, working with mystery clues, and more.

Intermediate Agenda (2 hrs) – 1pm Eastern

• Use setup to customize your key, add a one-tap marker for charts and written, use voice commands, and Magic Markers.
• Learn to create Row Reminders and several use cases for reminders.
• Using Join. Learn why you would want to “tape together” different parts of a pattern as well as how to do this digitally with knitCompanion.

Advanced Agenda (2 hrs) – 4pm Eastern

• Go deep into setup to learn about Templates. Learn how to leverage the power of templates for more complex setup tasks.
• Managing repeats. Learn how to repeat different parts of a pattern, and have knitCompanion automatically track repeats.
• Handling “at the same time” instructions. Learn how to add those pesky “at the same time” instructions to the one tap marker so you never visit the frog pond because of a forgotten shaping instruction.
• A variety of additional topics including setting a custom cover image for projects, renaming and re-ordering pieces, and more.
